Mediante esta serie de pintura sobre tabla entelada se pretende crear una representación del cuerpo muerto a través de la ausencia del mismo, haciendo uso del elemento connotativo de la sangre como huella. Estas imágenes se obtienen a partir de dos películas del cineasta Michael Haneke “Funny Games” (1997) y “Caché” (2005). Estos fotogramas son trasladados al plano pictórico lo cual provoca un cambio en su interpretación conceptual. La obra sería colocada en un espacio expositivo habitual, colgadas a la altura de los ojos para ser observadas como televisiones. El proyecto trata de provocar una reflexión en el espectador en torno al concepto de la muerte en la actualidad y a las imágenes violentas que observamos en nuestro día a día que
hemos banalizado por su excesivo consumo.

By means of this series of paintings on wood panels, I intend to create a representation of the dead body through the absence of it, making use of the connotative element of blood as a trace. These images are obtained from two films by filmmaker Michael Haneke "Funny Games" (1997) and "Caché" (2005). These frames are transferred to the pictorial plane which causes a change in their conceptual interpretation. The work would be placed in a usual exhibition space, hung at eye level so as to be seen like televisions. The project attempts to cause the viewer to reflect on the concept of death in the present and the violent images which we observe in our day to day life that we have trivialized by their excessive consumption.
